Mapping & Photogrammetry

Orthophoto, DSM/DTM and vector deliverables

Mapping & Photogrammetry

Orthophotos, digital surface models and plan outputs at 2–3 cm accuracy with RTK/PPK-equipped drones.

From 150 TRY per hectare

We produce maps 10–20 times faster than conventional topographic surveying, verified against independent check points. Typical uses are zoning implementation, cadastral updates, quarry and stockpile volumes, and irrigation and drainage design.

Deliverables

  • Orthophoto (GeoTIFF) at 2, 3 or 5 cm/pixel
  • DSM and DTM with contour lines
  • Classified point cloud (LAS/LAZ)
  • Building, road and parcel vectors (DXF/DWG/SHP)
  • Accuracy report and check-point table

How it works

We take the site boundary, prepare the flight plan, measure ground control points with GNSS and capture data with 75–80% overlap. After processing, products are delivered in ITRF96 or your required projection.

Pricing

The price depends on area size, target resolution, terrain and turnaround. Volume discounts apply to projects above 1,000 hectares. Use the calculator on this site to see an indicative amount instantly.

Scope of service

  • 2–3 cm horizontal accuracy (RTK/PPK)
  • ITRF96 / UTM projection
  • CAD and GIS compatible outputs
  • Accuracy report included

Frequently asked questions

Which permits are required for commercial drone flights?
Depending on weight and operation type you need SHGM UAS registration, a pilot certificate, operator authorisation and liability insurance. Additional coordination applies in military restricted areas and urban zones. Kartalay handles the entire process; you only share the site information.
How accurate is the mapping?
With RTK/PPK and ground control points we target 2–3 cm horizontal and 3–5 cm vertical RMSE. Achieved values are measured against independent check points and reported on every project.
How many hectares can you map in a day?
With the KS-2 fixed wing we capture 450–600 hectares a day; multirotors deliver 150–250 hectares of orthophoto. Terrain, wind and target resolution affect this.
How does weather affect flights?
Rain, wind above 10 m/s and poor visibility stop flights. Thermal jobs need clear sunny hours, spraying needs low wind. No extra fee is charged for flights postponed because of weather.
What faults can thermal inspection detect?
We detect hot spots, partial shading, bypass diode failures, loose connections, soiling and insulation losses. Each finding is listed with GPS coordinates, temperature delta and a recommended action.
